About Us

Founded in April 2025 by Liz Peché in response to access barriers in the town, Tewkesbury Access Forum works to make Tewkesbury more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

The forum brings together disabled people with a wide range of lived experience, along with local organisations and community partners, to identify barriers and promote practical improvements across the town.

The forum brings together disabled people with a wide range of lived experience, along with local organisations and community partners, to identify barriers and promote practical improvements across the town.

One of our current projects is a map of accessible routes, venues and places acoss Tewkesbury town centre which we hope will also support local businesses by encouraging greater footfall.

We meet regularly in the Tewkesbury area to discuss local issues, share updates, and hear from contributors across the community.

We are committed to making our meetings inclusive and accessible, and welcome advance notice of any access needs that would enable you to attend events and meetings.

By working together, we believe Tewkesbury can become a town where accessibility is valued as part of everyday life. If you would like to get involved or find out more, please contact us at
